Last Updated: October 1, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Quick Hitter HQ LLC ("Quick Hitter," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and retains information when you use the Quick Hitter Basketball mobile application and related services (the "Service"). This Policy should be read together with our Terms of Service.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Information You Provide. We may collect account information such as your name, email address, password credentials maintained in protected form, and profile information you choose to provide, such as a bio, school or team nickname, and profile customizations.
We collect content you create or submit through the Service, which may include video clips, photos (including profile photos), audio recordings (play voiceovers), drawn plays, practice plans, scouting reports, prompts submitted to the AI Play Generator, AI-generated plays, captions, comments, ratings, messages, and other User Content, as well as information about coaching-staff teams you create or join.
We also collect communications you send to us, including support requests.
1.2 Information Collected Automatically. We may collect usage information about how you interact with the Service, such as features used, plays generated, posts viewed, and similar activity, including information needed to enforce free-tier limits or manage subscription status. We may collect device and technical information such as device type, operating system, and app version. We may also collect push-notification tokens used to deliver notifications. You can control push notifications through your device settings.
1.3 Information From Third Parties. If you sign in, purchase a subscription, or interact with the Service through a third-party provider or integration, we may receive information from that provider as permitted by your settings and the provider's terms.
2. How We Use Information
We use information to provide, operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Service; provide the AI Play Generator, content-sharing/feed features, storage/locker features, and messaging; personalize features; enforce usage limits and manage subscription status; communicate with you about your account, the Service, and support; send enabled notifications; monitor security, performance, and reliability; and investigate or prevent fraud, abuse, security incidents, or violations of our Terms.
We will not use personal information for materially different purposes without providing notice or obtaining consent where required by law.
3. How We Disclose Information
We do not sell personal information as that term is ordinarily understood. We may disclose information in the following circumstances:
Service Providers. We use the following third-party service providers to operate portions of the Service. Each processes information on our behalf subject to its applicable contractual obligations:
Supabase – database, user authentication, and storage of uploaded files (including videos, photos, and audio recordings).
Anthropic – the AI Play Generator. Descriptions or prompts you submit to the AI Play Generator are sent to Anthropic to generate play suggestions.
RevenueCat – subscription management. RevenueCat receives your account identifier and subscription purchase history. It does not receive payment-card details.
Expo – delivery of push notifications, using device push-notification tokens.
Apple – App Store purchases and payment processing, under Apple’s own terms and privacy policy.
Other Users. Content you affirmatively choose to post or share may be visible to other users according to the sharing feature you select. Private or group messages are disclosed to their intended participants and may also be processed or retained as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, and support the messaging feature.
App Marketplaces and Payment Providers. If you purchase a subscription through an app marketplace, that marketplace and its payment providers process payment information under their own terms and privacy policies. Paid subscriptions are currently purchased only through the Apple App Store, and Quick Hitter does not receive or store payment-card details.
Legal and Safety Reasons. We may disclose information when required by law, subpoena, court order, or other legal process, or when we reasonably believe disclosure is necessary to protect rights, investigate fraud or abuse, enforce our Terms, or protect the safety or security of users, Quick Hitter, or others.
Business Transfers. Information may be transferred in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, or similar business transaction, subject to applicable law.
4. Data Retention and Account Deletion
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Service and for legitimate business, legal, security, fraud-prevention, dispute-resolution, and compliance purposes.
You may delete your account at any time using the “Delete Account” feature in the app. When you do, we immediately delete your profile, plays, posts, comments, likes, saves, messages, team data, uploaded videos, photos, and voice recordings, and your sign-in account, and we remove your record from our subscription-management provider. Residual copies in database backups are deleted on our service provider’s backup schedule, within 30 days. Copies of plays that other users previously saved to their own accounts remain with those users. Subscription purchase records maintained by Apple are governed by Apple’s policies. We may also retain limited information where required or permitted by law, such as records necessary to address legal claims.
5. Your Choices and Privacy Rights
You may review and update available account or profile information through the Service. You may delete your account through the Service or contact us for assistance. You may disable push notifications through your device settings.
Depending on where you reside, applicable law may provide additional rights concerning personal information, which may include rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of certain information or to object to or restrict certain processing. Requests may be submitted using the contact information below. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request and will respond as required by applicable law.
6. Children's Privacy and Athlete Content
Quick Hitter Basketball is intended for adult users age 18 or older and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly permit children to create accounts or knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. If we learn that personal information was collected directly from a child in circumstances requiring deletion, we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
User Content uploaded by adult coaches may depict or identify minors participating in athletic activities. The uploading user is responsible for obtaining all legally required consents, releases, permissions, and school, league, or governing-body approvals before uploading or sharing such content, as described in our Terms of Service.
7. Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information. No system, storage method, or transmission over the Internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials.

If you access the Service from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to and processed in jurisdictions with different data-protection laws.
